Bush, Democrats spar over gas prices
As Democrats point the finger at Bush for high gas prices, he sounded off at those who doomed his energy bill that featured ANWR drilling.
"Had ANWR been passed--had it not been vetoed in the past--we anticipate additional barrels of oil would have been coming out of that part of the world, which would obviously have a positive impact for today's consumers," Bush said.
Meanwhile, high oil prices nearly balances Alaska's state budget. Sounds like everyone is having a grand ol' time.....except Hummer drivers.
