Bend, Oregon lays out ANWR facts
According to the Bend Bugle, "Drilling in 0.1 Percent Of ANWR Would Reduce Imports By 876,000 Barrels Per Day." A study by the Energy Information Administration shows that opening just .01 percent - or 2,000 acres - of the federal land in ANWR to energy development would reduce oil imports by 876,000 barrels per day by 2025.
